Professional Experience

Mr. Gingras joined DeBlois et Associés, Barristers and Solicitors, L.L.P. on January 1st, 2005.

He privately practices since his admission to the Barreau du Québec and was the main associate of one of the most ancient firms of the province of Quebec until December 2004.

He has been accredited by the Centre d’arbitrage commercial national et international du Québec (C.A.C.N.I.Q.), nowadays known as the Canadian Commercial Arbitration Centre. He was also accredited by the Institut d’arbitrage du Québec (I.A.Q.), nowadays known as the Institut de médiation et d‘arbitrage du Québec. He was part of the A.P.C.H.Q. – Région de Québec, in which he was the Legal Advisor for a few years.

Mr. Gingras essentially practices Civil Law, especially Corporate Law and Commercial Law.

Through the years, he specialized into Banking Law, business financing and realization on guarantees..

He also specialized into Real Estate Law, especially in the construction area and latent defects.  

He regularly deals with cases implying environment or soil contamination.

His law experience brings him to plead in all juridical and quasi-juridical authorities, in which he demonstrated his talent in numerous major litigations.

Professional Activities

Mr. Gingras is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.

He has been a member, a director and a president of many boards of directors.

Communal and Social Activities

Mr. Gingras was actively implied into voluntary activities and organizations.  He was president of the Centre d’accueil Le Phare from 1984 to 1987, of the Club Optimiste Chauvreau in 1978, and finally of the Club Richelieu de L’Ancienne-Lorette in 1991. 

He was involved as a lecturer, a director and an animator in many organizations and associations such as the Association provinciale des constructeurs d’habitations du Québec (Région de Québec) inc., the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec, the Association des propriétaires de machinerie lourde du Québec, as well as in many non-profits organizations.
